Ever wonder what would happen if a spy dialed a wrong number?
Leigh is a secret agent in peril with only one hope to save her life: her agency’s emergency hotline. But who bothers to memorize phone numbers these days? Certainly not a spy with more important things on her mind, like seducing a pretty girl. Of course, that pretty girl may be the reason Leigh was knocked out cold and stuffed in the trunk of a car. Now Leigh’s praying the number in her head is the right one. Guess what? It’s not. But when a gorgeous woman comes to her rescue, Leigh decides not to ask too many questions.
Amanda is new to Baltimore and working the graveyard shift at the local public radio phone bank when a strange call comes in during the annual pledge drive. She assumes it’s the make believe spy school that her quirky old aunt enrolled her in for a birthday gift. A late night rescue? Sure, she’ll play along. How’s she supposed to know the mysterious woman she rescues from the back of an unmarked black sedan is the real deal? All she knows is that if spy school instructors are all as hot as Leigh, she’ll gladly stay after class to earn some extra credit any time. And Leigh’s ready and willing to help her learn the ins and outs of spy craft, among other things.
But when the situation turns deadly, Leigh is forced to reveal her true identity and take Amanda with her on the run. The answers lie in Stockholm, but whether Leigh faces more danger from enemy agents or from Amanda’s wrath after she realizes she’s been tricked is anyone’s guess.
